Shimna-Glen sits on the Shimna River in Newcastle, County Down — where the Mourne Mountains meet the Irish Sea. Inside, the house is divided into two semi-detached units, each with its own entrance, terrace and view.

Book one for a quiet getaway, or both together for a family or a group of friends. Either way you wake up to the same view: the river below, Slieve Donard above, and Tollymore Forest a few minutes' walk through the trees.

Built to passive-house standards, the home has a fraction of the energy footprint of a typical build.
